DAY 2: ACCRA
Proceed for soccer practice in the morning. Go on a city tour of Accra, Ghana’s capital city, visiting Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, National Museum, Accra Sports Stadium and the Arts and crafts market. Meet and interact with executives and members of Ghana Football Association (GFA) to learn at first hand the role of football in the socio-economic development of Ghana. Proceed for an evening soccer training session with one of the local teams in Accra.

DAY 3: ACCRA - KUMASI
Depart Accra after breakfast for Kumasi in the Ashanti Region; the Kingdom of Gold, History and Culture. Drive past several scenic villages with fine examples of traditional Ghanaian housing. Arrive in Kumasi and proceed on a city tour of Kumasi visiting the Manhyia Palace and Palace Museum, Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Prempeh II Jubilee Museum and the Okomfo Anokye Sword. Drive past the Kumasi Central Market, one of the largest open-air markets in West Africa. Check into your hotel and rest of day is free to relax.

DAY 4: KUMASI
Proceed for soccer practice in the morning. Visit a few Ashanti craft villages to observe craftsmen at work and to purchase souvenir gift items from the wide assortment of handicrafts on sale. This is a unique opportunity to purchase souvenirs or gifts. Visit the Kumasi Children’s Home to meet and interact with House Mothers and Children to share experiences and learn at first hand the problems facing the home. This would provide a unique opportunity to donate clothes, toys and school supplies to the home. Continue for a practice game with one of the local soccer clubs in Kumasi.

DAY 5: KUMASI - ELMINA
In the morning, depart for Elmina in Ghana’s Central Region. Stop en route at the village of Mesomagor to see the Mesomagor Bamboo Orchestra at their musical best. The orchestra has revived the traditional art, by performing with bamboo percussion instruments to music and dance. This is a contagious dance performance you have not seen anywhere else. Arrive in Elmina by mid afternoon and visit the Elmina Castle, the first and oldest European structure built in sub-Sahara Africa, for a guided tour. View its distinct architecture.

DAY 6: ELMINA
Proceed for soccer practice in the morning. Depart Elmina after breakfast to visit the Kakum National Park. Go on a morning walk of the “Kuntan Trail” with its countless trees with medicinal properties. For the young at heart experience the “Canopy Walkway” suspended 100 feet from the forest ground for a panoramic view of the flora and fauna of the remaining vestiges of the rainforest. Return to your hotel and rest of day is free to relax on the beach.

DAY 7: ELMINA
Proceed for soccer practice in the morning. Depart for Takoradi to visit the 20,000 seater capacity Essipong Sports Stadium, one of the match venues for the 2008 African Cup of Nations hosted by Ghana. Go on a guided tour of the stadium and view its splendid architecture. Continue to visit the Sekondi European Town for a sightseeing of the old colonial buildings, High Court, Commercial, Residential buildings and the old Railway Station. Enjoy a practice game with one of the local soccer clubs in Sekondi-Takoradi. Return to Elmina for overnight stay.

DAY 8: ELMINA - ACCRA
Proceed for soccer practice in the morning. Visit the Cape Coast School for the Deaf. You will be welcomed by the students with traditional cultural performance. The students at Cape Coast School for the Deaf have put their disability aside in keeping the African traditional cultural performances alive. They will excite you with African traditional drumming and dancing skills. After the Welcome ceremony you will get to meet and interact with the students and Staff. Return to Accra.

DAY 9: ACCRA
Proceed for soccer practice in the morning. Rest of morning is free for relaxation. Proceed for a farewell Soccer tournament with Accra Select Team and at least two (2) other local soccer teams. In the evening, proceed for a farewell dinner with traditional entertainment.

DAY 11: DEPARTURE
Day is free for last minute shopping and packing. Check into airport for departure.
