DAY 2: ACCRA CITY TOUR
This morning, you would go on a city tour of Accra, Ghana’s capital city, visiting Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, the National Museum, uniquely designed casket shops, and the Arts and crafts market.

DAY 3: ACCRA - ELMINA
Morning at leisure. Depart Accra by mid-morning for Elmina in the Central Region. Drive along the coast through several fishing villages and coconut-lined beaches. Arrive in Elmina by mid-afternoon and visit the Elmina Castle; which was built by the Portuguese in 1482, for a comprehensive guided tour. View its architecture and distinct features.

DAY 4: ELMINA
Depart after breakfast to visit the Kakum National Park. Go on a morning walk on the “Kuntan Trail” with its countless trees with medicinal properties. For the young at heart experience the “Canopy Walkway” suspended 100 feet from the forest ground for a panoramic view of the flora and fauna of the remaining vestiges of the rainforest.
Visit a local palm oil processing plant. Learn firsthand the use of centuries-old techniques to process palm nuts into palm oil. This would provide you with the unique opportunity to learn the various uses of the palm tree.

Depart your hotel after breakfast for Beyin. Your first challenge is a visit by foot and by hand-paddled canoe to the village on stilts, Nzulezo. This village is built entirely on the Amansure Lake. Meet and interact with the villagers who live on this large lake. Observe village life and share experiences.
